BAP Union Visit

This past weekend, the Agrupación facilitated a unique learning experience for the Father and son group . The group visited the BAP Unión, a four-masted training ship of the Peruvian Navy.

The BAP Unión holds the distinction of being the largest sailing vessel in Latin America. Boasting a crew of nearly 250, it is among the world's most largest sailing ships.

One of the members of the group, Nicola Stasi, served on a similar ship when he was a cadet in the Venezuelan Navy. Nicola shared with the group memories of life at sea. During their visit, the group was hosted by a dedicated cadet who provided a comprehensive tour and insightful commentary. The BAP Unión is currently undertaking a world tour, and its recent stop in Miami presented a rare opportunity for the ACU group to delve into the life of a cadet aboard a sailing ship.
