Welcome to the official website for the Agrupación Católica Universitaria (ACU). The ACU is a Marian Congregation whose spirituality is based on Jesuit formational principles, and a strong concentration in Marian reflection.

The ACU is a Catholic Sodality of common goals. Attain Christian balance in life through profession, piety, family, society, and apostolic service to the community. Feel free to contact us at any time.

The Director

Fr. Guillermo (Willie) Arias, S.J.: Born in Habana, Cuba in 1942. Admitted to Society of Jesus on May 19, of 1961 at the Los Teques Noviatiate, in Venezuela. Was ordained a priest in 1972 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and served there  in different assignments for over 25 years, before coming to Florida to minister as Spiritual Director at Saint Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach for 13 years. Fr. Wilie continues to minister to Seminarians today at Saint John Vianney College Seminary in Miami. A Sodalist ever since December 8, 1960, he considers himself  Marian to the core. In Puerto Rico he did work for over 15 years at Colegio San Ignacio, mostly as Chaplain. For shorter terms he did serve as well in Rio Piedras as Director of Centro Universitario Católico, Pastor of Parroquia San Ignacio, and Assistant to the Regional Jesuit Superior. To foster Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Apostleship of Prayer Spirituality has always been important to him. He did serve as well as bona fide chaplain to the Puerto Rico ACU Chapter for a number of years. Father Arias holds  Master of Arts degrees both in Theology and Education. read more »
