Seminal work on the founder of the Marian Congregation and his university apostolate, the ACU, by sodalist Miguel Figueroa Miranda, attorney and diplomat, legate to the Vatican during the Second World War. Intercessor for the selection of Cuba’s first Cardinal, prelate of the Church in Cuba, Manuel Arteaga Betancourt, supporter of and honorary sodalist of the ACU.

Agrupación Católica Universitaria Silver Anniversary
Companion volume to the first ACU history, this 70-page national newspaper fascicle was drafted anonymously by agrupados and distributed by Cuba’s most respected and largest circulation newspaper, Diario de la Marina, under the direction of friend of the ACU José Ignacio Rivero, Editor in Chief. Its purpose was to respond to the many questions that arose after the ACU was honored as “model university sodality” at the Worldwide Federation of Our Lady’s Sodalities at its first congress in Rome.

Written by noted sodalist intellectual José Ignacio Lasaga Travieso, polyglot holder of various doctorates, first president of the Worldwide Federation of Our Lady’s Sodalities at its initial congress in Rome.

Mystic Rose
Marian Sodality, founded by ACU's Fr. Felipe Rey de Castro SJ on Dr. Armando Ruiz Leiro and Dr. Rosalba Roberts' suggestion, was for female students with rules akin to ACU's, showcasing foresight in a time of low female university enrollment. Mystic Rose ceased in the 1960s, needing its first historian. Thanks to Blanca R. Menéndez Antón, M.D., for help.
