Call for Missing Issues of ESTO-VIR

The ACU published its "Hoja Intima" on paper from 1931 to 2010. Our founder and his successor were editors and a number of agrupados directed the publication through eight decades; Pablo Carreño being the last one before it became an electronic publication. Fr. Rey de Castro, apart from using it as an internal and external communications vehicle, intended it to serve as a school of writing for promising future agrupado journalists. These newsletters comprise an essential written record of ACU’s history. They have been digitized for legacy preservation purposes and for easier access. ACU FIU Fellow, Pedro Camacho, is studying them as part of a Master of History program and making them the subject of his thesis. An important side-benefit will be a first complete index of articles and photographs captured in about 6,000 pages. There are plans to rebind the entire collection, but we are missing the following issues:

  • 1958 Volume XXVII: 1 Issue 224?, 2 (225?), 3 (226?)

  • 1960 and/or 1961: Issues 236 & 237

  • 1967 Volume XXXV: 4 Issue 278

  • 1970 Volume XXXIX Issue 293

Please let us know if you have copies of one or more of them. Email Efrain_Zabala@icloud.com or call +1(305)308-8544
