Since I'm going to be hanging out in Miami to present "The Bible and the Virgin Mary" on Saturday, June 9th, I thought I'd come a little early and give another talk called "Pray Like a Saint" (with some of my conversion story tossed in for good measure) at the beautiful Residencia Jesus Maestro located at 720 NE 27 Street in Miami.

The retreat focused on the First Week of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and was directed by Father Aaron Pidel, S.J, a Jesuit of the Province of New Orleans who has spent the last year serving as a Parochial Vicar at the Gesu Catholic Church in downtown Miami.

Father Aaron Pidel, SJ will be offering the Spiritual Exercises for young men at the Juan Pablo II Retreat House from Friday April 13 starting at 8PM to Sunday April 15 at 1PM.

Father Pidel currently serves as Parochial Vicar at Gesu Church in Downtown Miami. For more information or to register, please contact Jeremy Johnston, Resident Director of Residencia Jesus Maestro, at 305-573-1914 or at residenciajm@acumundi.org.

The cost of the retreat is $50. Scholarships available.

RJM: Permiso de Uso Otorgado

Nuestra Residencia Jesús Maestro recibió el Permiso de Uso (Certificate Of Occupancy) de las autoridades en la Ciudad de Miami. Así lo reporta hoy Jesús León, Presidente de La ACU.

Queridos Agrupados:

El éxito se debe a muchas cosas y muchas personas que han trabajado constantemente en los últimos meses, especialmente:

Arellano Construction y, en particular Ezequias Chirino, Efraín Zabala, un amigo de la ACU que fue el motor desde la ACU para resolver todos los problemas; Benny Díaz, su firma de abogados y sus amigos abogados para resolver un asunto legal con la Ciudad de Miami.

Willie Cueto, Presidente del Board of Directors de RJM, Ray Cacicedo gestionando y ayudando a resolver múltiples problemas, Padre Nelson García animando y empujándonos a terminar el trabajo
