ACU Atlanta continues to incorporate new methods and technology for "Aspirante" formation while it teaches the ACU's basic principles. Ramiro Rodríguez, Instructor for  ACU Atlanta, travels very frequently as a result of a recent promotion in his job. Ramiro was scheduled to give the Instruction on “The Personal Vocation of the Agrupado” on June 30 to the ACU Atlanta group but he had to visit the company’s headquarters for a meeting.

Ramiro teamed up with Alfredo Trujillo, they connected via Skype on a computer-to-computer link and gave the instruction live over the Internet. Tim Murphy, an Atlanta Aspirant said: “We could see/hear Ramiro and he could see/hear us. The quality was very good. Maybe the first 'Charla' given over the internet!”

Two Atlanta congregants, José Batlle and George Guigou reminisced about Father Llorente sending out cassette tapes of Miami's "Guardias" to the different ACU Chapters back in the 70s and how the ACU members in Atlanta would meet to pray the rosary and hear the cassettes. Technology comes to our aid one more time: the cassettes in the 1960s, 70s and into the 80s, and now the telecommunications and internet revolution that allows us to give live conferences while remotely located. Skype will not replace the physical presence of the “ACU patio” but it, along with the ACU's EstoVir.org Web page, ACUinfo email and teleconferences, these Web Cast capabilities will help to communicate and continue to prepare new agrupados.
