Repairs and upgrades to the Juan Pablo-II site have been completed. Pablo Carreño and Ramón Barcia took charge of the remodeling project which also entailed an update to Life Safety Code regulations in terms of Egress and Fire Prevention. Rusted balcony and staircase railings were replaced with aluminum sections specified by Architect Roger Plasencia. The roofing tarp installed underneath the Spanish Tiles was also replaced. Expenses to date total $47,000.

There is still some more work planned for the upkeep of our facilities, but the estimates came in higher than our current financial condition allows. Agrupación "Cuotas" have fallen behind this past year. In addition to our monthly dues, the ACU could put "donations" to good use. Please consider sending a "little extra" with your dues next month. It's worth it!
