Miami celebrated its first annual ACU camping trip at John Paul the Second Retreat House this past weekend, March 13th. Ten families raised 13 camping tents along the Plaza de la Evangelización in front of Biscayne Bay.

The weather was beautiful. Father Nelson García S.J. celebrated Mass for the campers.

Roger Plasencia cooked a large pig. More than 50 people joined for lunch to help finish the pig that was cooked in a "caja china". Not a morsel of "lechón" was left. The successful event was organized by Roger Plasencia.
