Weekly meetings, known as "Guardias" are held at local "Casas" (Houses) in Miami, Atlanta, New York, Washington DC and San Juan, where Agrupados learn and grow their Catholic Faith in light of today's world. The meetings include an invocation to prayer, the Holy Mass or reciting of the Holy Rosary, preceded with the "Charla or instructional talk and a discussion of action plans for ongoing apostolate service with local, regional, national and the international community.
Talks range on a wide variety of educational topics, from Catholic Church doctrine to the analysis of current social issues and their impact on Christian society at large. Themes includes history of the Catholic Church, lives of the saints, how to attain the balance in professional, spiritual, family and the apostolic life in today's society. The goal is one of continued education that exercises the mind into a better understanding of constantly evolving circumstance that each person must face individually and/or collective, in the pursuit of a bonding unity in Jesus Christ.
After the "charlas" (talks), informal social events spontaneously occur that reinforce fraternity, conversation and good times with fellow Agrupados, family and visitors.
ACU Houses share in national and international apostolate activities coordinated through the Main House in Miami. Each "Casa" (House) also endeavors on their own local missions in the service of their respective communities. The Agrupación also places strong importance on individual works of service performed by each Congregante.
The weekend nearest to December 8th, Agrupados from all over the world meet on the Miami Campus for the annual celebration of the feast of Our Lady, The Immaculate Conception. The weekend includes committee members and Board of Directors meetings reporting annual achievements and plans for the upcoming year. Banquets with numerous social and religious celebrations take place over the weekend that includes spouses, children and friends. The weekend spotlight falls on "Aspirantes" (Aspiring Congregants) making their first public vows as new "Congregantes" in the Agrupación. "Inmaculada" is an annually renewed testimony that validates the purpose in service and strength the Agrupación has on current times.
