Since Man was created for the greater glory of God, we believe in achieving a greater effort in living a spiritual life that receives the same attention and fervor as important events in our lives, and thereby instilling an apostolic sense of value to every action we do. There are three pillars that define the balanced life of an Agrupado, and they are: Spiritual, Professional, and Apostolic. Agrupados are men formed in their faith who both know and understand what the Catholic Church teaches and why. They are soldiers of Christ, ready to defend the Catholic Church and refute critics of the heresies they teach against the Church. They are men who understand what their faith means to them, and are willing to strengthen and explore an ever deeper union with Jesus Christ. Agrupados are also men consecrated to the Virgin Mary.
In imitating Jesus Christ, Agrupados develop a deep and unifying love with the Theotokos, the Virgin Mary. By developing a deeper relationship with the Mother of God, Agrupados find themselves spiritually closer to Jesus. In service of Jesus Christ and his spouse, the Church, Agrupados are united to the Pope and the rest of the Magesterium. As men of the Church, we humbly and obediently unite ourselves to the thinking of the Church established directly by Jesus Christ. To accomplish this, Agrupados go on a retreat at least once a year known as the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. In this retreat, Agrupados are constantly challenged to come closer to Christ by answering three questions: "What have I done for Christ?", "What am I doing for Christ?", and "What must I do for Christ?" Through a greater understanding of Ignatian Spirituality, Agrupados are also challenged to embody and imitate St. Ignatius of Loyola in his Ignatian requirement to use all human means, science, art, learning, and natural virtue with a total reliance on divine grace.
Agrupados have the calling of succeeding in their professional lives. Each and every Agrupado is a university level graduate, or at the very least, in the process of completing his degree. As a professional, the Agrupados make the most of the unique and talent that God has granted him by producing for the common good, while at the same time succeeding in maintaining a proper balance of a spiritual life, family, friends, etc. Through work, Agrupados expresses the gifts and talents given to them by God to the world and show forth that through their religious faith, they are able to excel and be successful through their principles rooted in Jesus Christ. The balanced Agrupado man can also use his profession as a means through which Christianity can be spread. Following the guidance of our founder Fr. Rey de Castro, we are called to be first class workers in our respective fields. Through that high level of leadership and authority, Agrupados can exert a positive, Catholic influence on those he guides and leads in the workforce, while serving as an example to the unethical ideals of the current corporate world we live in.
Lastly, Agrupados are also men of action, each of which partakes in apostolic work. Agrupados live by the motto of an obedient service to God. In following with the ideals of the Society of Jesus, Agrupados are also called to never be content with the status quo, that which can easily be attained, or the easiest of opportunities in life. Agrupados are constantly encouraged to discover, redefine, and reach out to the greatest and most difficult ordeal. To be where no one else wants to be is a new challenge to be faced, a new opportunity to reach out and make a positive difference in the world we live in, all for the greater glory of God. Through apostolic works, Agrupados actively participate in a life in Christ by helping his fellow man, causing social change, and providing a means through which they can maintain humble by remembering those who are less fortunate.
